Fourth grade students are expected to spend ONE hour on homework nightly Monday-Thursday
Some nights are tests nights and students will not have homework in that subject. They should use that extra time on other subjects that are giving them difficulty and read, read, read-especially AR library books.
WEEKENDS: Homework is not required; however, Spelling words can be reviewed over the weekend. Reading could be done on the weekend, especially library books or the next week's novel chapters. This may lighten the homework load during the week. Also, practice multiplication facts until you are fluent.
